Our classroom has various learning centers for your child to explore such as: science, art, music, puppets/dramatic play, housekeeping, block center, sand/water, math, manipulatives, language, computer, reading/quiet area and a listening center. Our staff will work to direct children’s learning through these centers.  The rooms are bright and cheerful with plenty of space to explore and enjoy the equipment and play together.  There are plenty of large and small group activities as well as individual choices. On days when the weather is not suitable for going outside, the children will have gross motor activities in a large room.  Another room for sleeping has carpeted floors with individual mats and windows that can be darkened.  

The play yard at Sandpiper is spacious and fenced in allowing children to run and play.  The children can enter this space safely directly from the Church building.  There are hard and soft surfaces for various types of children’s play.  We have sand boxes, climbers; riding toys, wagons, bouncy balls, basketball hoop, etc.  Adjacent to the play yard at the back of the church is a wonderful peace garden.  Here the children can learn about nature and even plant their own flowers.  There are large grassy areas for large group activities.
